He has authored 9 books so far including the best selling South African Bushveld – a field guide from the Waterberg (2008), as well as co-authoring the Okavango field guide (Gutteridge and Reumerman 2011), Bushman Rock Art (Forssman and Gutteridge 2011), Bushveld – Including the Kruger Lowveld, and Mammal Tracks and Signs of Southern Africa (with drawings from Louis Liebenberg), Invertebrate Tracks and Signs of Southern Africa (2017), A Tracker’s Tale (2019), Bird Tracks and Signs of Southern Africa (2020), and The Tracker Mentoring Manual (2020 with Dr. Kersey Lawrence).

The Tracker Mentoring Manual uses Southern African examples but can be used by anyone, anywhere in the world, to develop good tracking habits that will lead to expertise over time. The manual is stand alone, but can also be used in conjunction with the first of our correspondence and online tracking courses at TrackerMentoring.com, where students can become part of a worldwide network of peers embarking on the same journey.
